Civil Ceremonies

If you’re looking to have your civil ceremony in Rossendale, Lancashire, St. Mary’s Chambers is a well placed wedding venue for you to hold your civil ceremony at.

Lisa, Paul and the team are here to make your day as special as it can possibly be. It may be that you’re after a small, intimate gathering or you may prefer a much larger celebration—either way we have a number of options available to you.

We can arrange music of your choice for the guests to arrive to, the bride to walk down the aisle to and of course for the happy couple to exit to. With civil ceremonies, the only restriction is that there must be no religious content.

Many civil ceremonies take place later in the day—as such it is quite common to have a larger evening reception and no wedding breakfast. If this is to your taste then we do have a specific wedding package that caters for this type of wedding day.
